This Privacy Policy explains how S.C. „MC DENT” S.R.L., operator of the Doctor White dental clinic, collects, uses and protects personal data, including health data, in accordance with Law no. 195/2024 on personal data protection of the Republic of Moldova and with the principles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

– Identification and contact data: first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, the subject and the message sent through the form or when contacting us.
– Health data (special category): information necessary for dental services (relevant dental/medical history, examinations, treatment plan), provided during the consultation and the medical service.
– Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, collected through cookies and statistics/marketing tools.

3. Special categories of data (health data)

Health data is processed exclusively for the provision of the requested dental services, based on the explicit consent of the data subject and/or for the purpose of providing medical care, by staff bound by confidentiality (professional/medical secrecy). This data is not used for marketing purposes.

4. Purposes and legal bases of processing

– Booking and providing dental services (basis: explicit consent / provision of medical care / performance of a contract).
– Contacting you to confirm or manage the appointment (basis: legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps).
– Compliance with legal obligations, including medical and tax records (basis: legal obligation).
– Statistics, website improvement and marketing (basis: consent expressed through the cookie banner).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses cookies:
– Strictly necessary – ensure the basic functioning of the website; no consent required.
– Statistics and marketing – we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, as well as the Trustindex reviews widget. These cookies are activated only after the consent expressed through the cookie banner; until then they are blocked.

6. Disclosure of data

We do not sell your data. Data may be accessed by:
– The clinic’s medical and administrative staff, within their duties.
– Providers who support the operation of the website, acting as processors: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager) and Trustindex — only for technical/marketing data, not for medical data.
– Public authorities, when required by law.

7. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google) may process technical data outside the Republic of Moldova, applying the safeguards provided by law. Medical data is stored and processed locally, with appropriate protection measures.

8. Retention period

Medical data is kept for the period and under the conditions provided by medical record regulations. Contact data is kept as long as necessary to manage the relationship. Technical/marketing data is kept for the duration of the tools used, then anonymized or deleted.

9. Medical confidentiality

Staff processing health data are bound by professional secrecy. We apply strict access and confidentiality measures for this data.

10. Your rights

In accordance with Law no. 195/2024, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
